Got Lucky

While waiting for a campsite to open up, we were “forced” to boondock on the outskirts of Chiracahua National Monument in southern Arizona. It turned out we “Got Lucky” and experienced the most magical of evenings; as the sun began to to set it created a panorama of colours. I kept turning in all directions to see how the light was changing the scene before me. We so enjoyed our camping spot and awoke to a glorious sunrise. As an added bonus, I painted three little 8 x 8 paintings from this special location.
