Heading into the woods on a crisp cool morning, making fresh tracks in the soft and fluffy powder we stop after a while and break out the hot chocolate and cookies. Sure enough, the Whiskey Jacks come for a look see. I hold out my hand and offer some crumbs; it's all part of winter in the woods.
